About Mike Tuck

At the age of 28 Mike is considered one of the elite anglers of the West Coast. In just his 3rd season fishing professionally, Mike has already secured several key titles, and has earned over $150,000 in tournament competition. He is a two time US Angler’s Choice Pro Champion, and just missed winning the 2005 Bassmaster Open and 2006 FLW Stren Series events held at Clear Lake, finishing 2nd in each. Mike has earned an Angler of the Year title, and is considered by many to be the man to beat in any event at the world-famous Clear Lake.

Although Mike has cut his teeth competing at all levels in the West, his roots grow firm, clear back to home in Nashville, Tennessee. It was in Middle Tennessee on his family’s horse farm where Mike developed his passion for the outdoors. Deer, squirrel, and bird hunting were activities that Mike loved, and still enjoys today when time allows. Fishing however has always been Mike’s true passion. Wading in Hurricane Creek with friends and outings with his father on the Tennessee River laid the foundation of Mike’s fishing career. Driven by his ambition to be a World recognized National Pro, and with the support of his wife and family, Mike is now beginning to realize all of his childhood dreams.

Mike has an unrelenting drive to promote the sport. His personality and enjoyment of teaching make communicating with an audience of future fishermen one of the thrills he enjoys most while promoting his sponsors products.
